"Haute parfumerie" or "high perfumery" is to perfumery what haute couture is to fashion. The one-of-a-kind creations are handcrafted in small batches. The process is laborious with long internal steps and requires at least 6 months aging vs. industrial perfumery with unimaginative formulas, fast-aged in a month. The result is similar to fine wines, rendering living perfumes with a unique scent profile. Our fragrances are numbered, signed and personalized with your monogram. Haute perfumery is all about artistry, uniqueness and exclusivity.

The distinction between various perfume categories (eau de toilette, eau de parfum) lies in the concentration or percentage of perfume oil in an alcohol base: eau fraiîche (1-3% concentration), eau de toielette (10-15%), eau de parfum 15%-25%), extrait de parfum, the most concentrated format, (+30% concentration), also simply called "parfum". Technically, our perfumes are "extraits" or just "parfums". So, we decided to call them "Parfums Absolus 30%", due to their concentration and high content of absolutes, the champagnes of essential oils.
